Here’s the finished cover for the upcoming Goetic Justice audiobook, which is hopefully going to be ready some time this month if all goes to plan. I couldn’t be more thrilled with how this came out, Oouna absolutely outdid themselves on this one, and it really conveys that classical painting vibe I imagined. The level of detail is incredible. You can see individual droplets of dew on flower petals, the reflection on each grape, individual fireflies around her horns, the summoning circle on the ground and the other sigils carved into stones surrounding her. The difference in texture between the skin and the wool is just so tangible, it feels like you could reach out and touch it, and extra points for the subtle crease at the waist. Make sure you open this one in its full resolution to see all the little touches.
Also included is the portrait shot of Nahash, which was just too nice not to fully render.
There’s also a bonus nude version that Oouna generously provided, which I will be uploading to the gallery page shortly.
If you’d like to check out more of Oouna’s work (and why wouldn’t you?) you can find it over here:
